One of the hardest things people encounter when starting the keto diet is, of course, changing their eating habits.   It can take up to 2 weeks to enter ketosis, at which time sugar cravings tend to fade. Getting to the point can be hard.  It is a good idea to have easy options like a good keto no bake recipe for a "sweet treat", refined sugar free of course.

These peanut butter energy bites can be frozen or kept in the refrigerator for quite some time. After all, the consist of some very shelf stable ingredients.

Peanut Butter Energy Bites

Servings: 16

Serving size: 1 energy  ball

Keto No Bake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut or almond flour
  • 50g walnuts, crushed
  • 50g pecans, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon stevia extract powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • â…” cup sugar-free syrup

Instructions

In a bowl mix all the ingredients and knead with your hand until all the ingredients are well combined and compact.

Wet your hands with water or oil in spray and make 16 balls of about 2 tablespoon each.

Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge.

Feel free to add some sugar free chocolate chips too! 

Notes:

*You can replace the stevia for one of your preference.

*You may use another nut butter or sunflower butter, always keeping in mind that it should be one that doesn’t have any added ingredients.
