Back to school is just around the corner and that means germs galore! Help support your immune system and stay healthy with these Orange Cream Pops!
Orange Cream Pops Featuring Emergen-C
Where does the time go? I feel like school just ended and here we are preparing to go back! In our house back to school planning means many things- shopping, meal menus, extra curricular activity sign up and schedules. One of the most important things for me personally is preparing to combat all those germs coming into my home. Throughout the year I eat a lot of healthy foods high in antioxidants, but soon as August hits I am on an immune support mission. To help with immune support I enlist Emergen-C 1000 mg Vitamin C packs, convenient packets that you simply mix into water and drink. This is perfect for me because I literally always have a water bottle on me. My husband- not so simple. He refuses to eat, drink or breath anything healthy. So I take the “hidden veggie” approach with him. I incorporate (ok, hide) the most healthy foods into recipes he enjoys.
That is how these Orange Cream Pops were born. A delicious way to get some extra vitamin C! Emergen-C is packed with B vitamins, antioxidants†, electrolytes plus more vitamin C than 10 oranges^. With over 20 flavors, you have plenty of delicious varieties to choose from.*

Walmart Makes It Easy
You can purchase Emergen-C at your local Walmart over near the Pharmacy area. I noticed they display Emergen-C in two different easy to find places- 1. with the vitamins and supplements and 2. near the ChapStick and cough drops (an aisle over at our location). This is just one of the reasons why I shop at Walmart , they make it quick and easy to find everything I need.
ChapStick- Right above the Emergen-C
While we were getting the Emergen-C a really cool ChapStick caught my eye. I like to keep them on hand because I am out in the sun a lot and my lips always seem to get dry overnight. The ChapStick I found is perfect for just that. It is a 2 in 1 , 24hr Day AND Night Hydrating Skin Protectant that softens and protects lips every day with 11 moisturizing ingredients. SPF 12 provides UVB protection. Hydrating formula contains aloe and vitamin E.
One end for day with SPF and the other with added moisture for at night. Totally a win win and a fantastic find.
Alrighty, on to my clever and genius way of getting my husband to eat something healthy! While helping to get our immune systems ready for the wave of germs that will be upon us soon!
Orange Cream Pops Featuring Emergen-C
I decided to create a healthy delicious recipe that uses Emergen-C for some added vitamin C. These orange cream pops are healthy- made with Low Fat Vanilla Greek Yogurt, juice from an orange plus zest and Emergen-C! They are creamy, fresh and delicious. Perfect for any time of the day!
How To Make Them (full recipe and details below in recipe card)
Mix Emergen-C with water.
Add juice and some zest from an orange. (These are Cara Cara oranges, really sweet and juicy!)
Blend Greek Yogurt and Almond Milk until smooth
Pour into frozen pop molds, layers will blend together that is exactly what you want. Freeze overnight.
Run mold under warm water for 15 seconds to remove from molds.
TIP* I always place the pops into individual zip top freezer bags for easy grabbing.
I caught him outside eating his SECOND orange cream pop! Gotta love that telephoto lens, shhhh!
Orange Cream Pops are not only good, they are good for you. Make a double batch so the whole family can enjoy them! Please note- if children ages 4-13 will be eating them use Emergen- C Kidz. The Emergen-C packets used in this recipe are for 14 and older.

I love the cream pops idea! It may be the only way I can get my son to take Emergen-C and I’m sure he’ll need it once school starts. Cooler weather is coming and all those germs are going to be floating around.
