Fruity Overnight French Toast

Featuring Lender's Bagels

I am a huge fan of breakfast. If I don't eat breakfast soon after having my first cup of coffee I tend to feel yucky and can not get motivated. That is why a full, balanced breakfast packed with protein is important to my family and I. My biggest issue with breakfast is coming up with unique recipe ideas to break the monotony and avoid eating the same thing every morning.

One of my favorite things to do is experiment with new recipes. This fruity overnight french toast using Lender's Bagels instead of bread is a great example. Lender’s Bagels are Crunchy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside. The recipe incorporates eggs, milk, fruit and bagel pieces to make a hearty, well balanced breakfast to jump start the day. Lender’s bagels are filling – sustaining kids all morning. With the addition of milk and fruit we have built a better breakfast that provides protein, vitamins, carbohydrates and other nutritional values.

Milk is a great source of protein. I make sure my daughter drinks a glass first thing in the morning, especially before school. Childhood should be filled with playing, learning and growing. But for many children who face hunger, even basic staples like milk – and the nutrients that help power childhood activities – are missing.

The Great American Milk Drive

Now, you can help feed a childhood – by purchasing 1 or more of these products, you are helping Feeding America provide nutrient- rich milk to kids and families in need. Visit to learn more.

Lender's Bagels can be found at Walmart and are available in the refrigerated dairy section.

Not a fan of french toast? Try a simple breakfast sandwich like spinach and cheese omelette on a Lender's Bagel. That is how I get my daughter to eat spinach! Everything’s better on a Bagel. Bagels for breakfast are time saving, easy, tasty and nutritious. They come in a variety of flavors like Plain, Blueberry and Cinnamon-Raisin flavors, are kid-friendly & great for the whole family. Lender’s has a bagel for Everyone! Lender’s, A Family Favorite!
