Like the popular fast food restaurant's burger, this big mac pizza will have you addicted! All the elements that made the burger amazing are here we just happened to take it over the top by turning it into a pizza. The best part is that there are two versions- traditional and keto big mac pizza using fat head pizza dough. Either way, everyone will love whichever you choose to make, even with big mac sauce keto approved.
Keto Big Mac Pizza
Make this super easy big mac pizza traditional by simply using sugar instead of sweetener and regular pizza dough instead of fat head pizza dough (the low carb crust version that is keto approved using almond flour like the recipe below shows). Regardless of which version you decide to make, it will be a hit. We are aware there are a ton of copy cat recipes out there that say they taste like the "real thing", this one really does. This recipe is made at our house at least twice a month.
What is Big Mac Sauce?
For those not familiar, Big Mac sauce is the creamy ketchup based sauce served on the McDonald's Big Mac. When we use to order (and were able to eat fries) we used it as a dipping sauce, it's delicious. The famous sauce is sweet, tangy and a tad bit spicy (from the onion), it really hits all the notes! Ingredients like ketchup, mayonnaise, sweet pickle and vinegar make up our version of the sauce. The actual McDonald's recipe is of course top secret.
