One of the things I miss the most about the keto diet is those delicious desserts, so I've had to get a little creative with my keto desserts. (Because we all need a treat now and again, right?) This is easily one of my favorite fathead desserts - even the family loves them! It's just enough sweetness and I still get to enjoy my chocolate. 😉
These keto cinnamon twists are great for small get togethers. They're easy to make and your guests will love them! You can always prepare some regular chocolate sauce for those friends who aren't yet on the keto train. This keto fathead churro recipe is definitely going to impress - even if they don't usually care for fathead recipes. They are THAT delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 fathead dough recipe
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- ¼ cup erythritol
Chocolate Sauce:
- ½ cup sugar free chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
Directions
Gather up your ingredients to make the baking process a little easier! Once you've done that, you can begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and rolling out the refrigerated fathead dough between plastic saran wrap into a rectangular formation.
In a small dish, mix the butter, cinnamon, and erythritol and spread evenly over the rolled out dough. Then cut the dough into 1-2" strips with a pizza cutter as shown below.
Then, twist each one before placing onto a sheet pan. Repeat for each one and then bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
Microwave the chocolate chips and cream in a microwave safe dish until fully melted, making sure to stir every 15 seconds.
Mix chocolate sauce until smooth and optionally add cayenne pepper for a more spicy taste.
Dip churros into chocolate sauce and enjoy!

- 1 fathead dough recipe
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- ¼ cup erythritol
Chocolate Sauce
- ½ cup sugar free chocolate chips
