For some people the thought of starting a website or blog is pretty scary. We have the 3 Easy Steps To Start A Website Or Blog Free.
It can be overwhelming and seem like it is impossible, but it's not I promise! Even if you have no idea where to begin, do what I did and take every opportunity to read about it online. I am not an expert, but I taught myself and it is a lot more rewarding to know you did it all rather than have someone do it for you. Plus starting a blog free is really easy!
1. Start FREE , Yes free.. that way if you decide you do not like it or you just can not figure it out, then you have not lost anything but time. There are two main types of sites : Hosted and Self Hosted. For now, forget about the difference and know that to start free you will want to go hosted. Choose a platform such as WordPress, Blogspot, or one of the others listed here at Best Free Blog Platforms. I suggest WordPress, I have been using it for years and love it.
2. Register an account, pick a domain name and follow the on screen instructions, choose a name, a free theme and a logo.
3. Set up social media accounts so you can start gaining followers for your new blog!
There! You are done and have created your free blog in 3 easy steps. Congrats!
Note* A free website domain (the website address that begins with www. ) will look something like : www.startafreewebsite.wordpress.com AND NOT www.startafreewebsite.com
Simply put, Wordpress is hosting (allowing the site to exist and operate) for you Free !
