Skippy’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallow Clusters RecipeIngredients Skippy’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Spread Mini marshmallows Almond bark or chocolate chips Additional Items Needed Parchment Paper Several metal spoons Microwave safe bowls for melting, or a double boiler
What to do
Prepare a clean spot on a counter or table with parchment paper for creating the marshmallow clusters. Melt your almond bark or chocolate chips in the microwave or double boiler.
Use this guide for melting chocolate in the microwave
Grab a clean spoon and pour a spoonful of chocolate onto the parchment paper to create a small circle. Do this for four to six clusters, moving quickly so that chocolate does not have time to harden.
Drop four to five mini marshmallows onto each circle of chocolate, pressing them down very lightly so that they are touching the chocolate at one point.
Grab another spoon and add a teaspoon of Skippy’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Spread over the tops of the mini marshmallows. Finish it off with another spoonful of chocolate poured over the entire cluster.
Make sure you add enough chocolate so that the sides are completely covered. Leave the clusters that are complete to cool and repeat to finish off the rest of the chocolate and marshmallows.
Once all your marshmallow clusters have cooled completely, peel them back from the parchment paper. You can serve them up in cupcake liners or drop them into a decorative tin.
