Oven Roasted Ranch Carrots Recipe
Roasted Ranch Carrots have such an amazing flavor, you will be glad you tried them
Roasted ranch carrots are such an easy way to add a bit of flare and extra flavor to your main dish! A delicious way to change up your every day carrot side dish. Usually for most meals we have the oven going already, so these oven roasted ranch carrots are as easy as popping them onto a sheet pan with some seasonings and oil.
What you need:
- 8oz baby carrots
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 packet dried Ranch seasoning
- 1 sprig fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- pinch salt & pepper
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 425. They key to these carrots is cooking them fast and hot. The brown sugar along with the natural sugars coming out during cooking gives them a nice sticky, glazed texture.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, seasoning packet, brown sugar, parsley and salt & pepper until fully combined and sugar starts to dissolve.
Add the baby carrots and mix to coat evenly.
Spread the carrots out onto a cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until caramelized and tender.
Try not to over cook the carrots, they will be mushy and have a bitter burnt taste.
